The 10 Keys to Personal Power
Key 1: Clarity
"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in
life. Have a sense of direction and know
where you’re going. If you do not have
clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who
do."
Reflection: In order to have a successful like you must know what you want to
accomplish have a clear understanding of your surroundings and end goal. If you
do not know what you want to accomplish you will have no end goal and nothing
to look forward to. Do not let your future be decided for you just because you
are doing not know what you hope to accomplish. Do not let others tell you what
to do or allow them to manage your future. If you do not set priority to your
goals you will end up working to help other accomplish theirs.Key 2: Competence
"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, they better you get"
Reflection: If you wish to succeed you must look forward to taking advantage of every opportunity you get. Having a good mind set to succeed will help you accomplish more and wish to achieve higher. People who do not have a clear mind set of what they want to accomplish never finish as winners. Being a winner also means acting and proving to your self that you are worthy of being a winner. No good will come out of your achievements if you do not commit yourself to always being excellent.
Key 3: Concentration:
"Make the best use of your time.Ask yourself 'Is this the best use of my time?' before you start anything."
Refection: Being concentrated in what you do allows you to become very prepared. managing your time is one of the best ways to accomplishing your goals. Don't procrastinate, this will only stress you out and not allow you to complete big projects.
Key 4: Common Sence

Reflection: In order to have personal power you must allow yourself to grow and have a wide range of new ideas. Creativity will allow you to have new plans you wish to accomplish. Creativity is the use of imagination and original ideas to help you create new wonderful projects. Creativity will help you succeed.
Key 6: Consideration
"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."
"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."
"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you'll be the best educated person in history.
Reflection: Be considerate in your work studies this will help you improve yourself as a person. People you care about their education and demonstrate strength to learn will improve. These people will be successful because they were considerate and wanted to learn more. Try to improve yourself daily and this will encourage your strength on personal power.
Key 7: Consistency
"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work."
Be consistent in your relationships, your family, friends, your boss, your work. be the person that people can depend upon. That if you say you'll do something you do it."
Key 8: Commitment
"No success is possible without commitment.The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basic of achieving all success."
"Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."
Reflection: Commitment will allow you to be a successful and accomplished person. people who are always committed will be great leaders and role models for many people, there strong power to finish something will lead by example and help others.
Key 9: Courage
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in the life."
Reflection: Having courage is the greatest strength you can have in order to succeed. Having courage allows you to do things you normally are afraid of doing such accomplishing something big in your life. Having courage will allow you to over come obstacles that are causing you not to succeed. Have courage in everything that you do, having courage is the key so success.
Key 10: Confidence
"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again."
Reflection: Confidence will allow you to grow and have the courage to get things done. The only was to become more confident is by practicing over and over. Practice will only allow you to become stronger and come past your fears. Not only will your fears be diminished but you will also be able to over come anything.
